Tom Lavery is headquartered in Orlando, Florida and is the President and a founding member of Strategic Sales Management. Tom began his career with Carnation/Nestle and subsequently held significant sales leadership, management and marketing positions with Heinz, Barilla Pasta, ContessaPremium Foods, Just Desserts and YoCrunch/Dannon. Tom was classically trained and has a wide range of experience spanning25+ yearsin the CPG industry building teams and covering a broad spectrum of categories, classes of trade, broker networks and retailers, wholesalers & distributors both domestically and internationally. Tom has a strong background in the conventional, all natural and club channels managing WalMart/Sams, Costco, Target, Kroger, Publix, DelHaize, BiLoHoldings, Military, HEB, Supervalu as well as Whole Foods nationally and managing supporting natural/specialty distributors UNFI, DPI, Perkins, Kehe to name a few.Tom is a highly motivated results driven individual and has a proven track record of building brands and exceeding sales and profit goals with large multinational corporations as well as equity backed companies. He has continually migrated towards the more entrepreneurial organizations. Tom has a strong understanding of the sales process and has formed strong relationships in the CPG community. What he enjoys most is building a strong strategic plan and working the plan to deliver superior results.
